Trinidad, in Cuba that is, is a great little place to catch Cuban life in slow motion... climb up its rooftops for aerial views of lazy life below, check out groups of men whiling away time on street corners over board games, watch older folk sitting along edges of walls smoking cigars, or women weaving handmade stuff and men carting merchandise on horsecarts, browse through small shops selling handicraft knick-knacks, or take one of those cute-looking yellow mini coco-taxis for a ride through the city...eat at the Plaza Mayor (a bit used to tourists but still ok)...see Trinidad's art museum ... and walk on its pebbled slanting streets...
