Travel Tips from people who've been to Nicosia
If you ever visit 'Malcys Bar' down the strip in Nicosia, Cyprus, watch out for the OAP, deaf mute and & transvestite prostitutes that work in there. Hours of fun can be had with them, but not from what you think. Put money in the juke box and watch the deaf mute dance around you to an imaginary tune! Get a BJ from the OAP, and watch her put her dentures in her handbag first. Get a BJ from the tranny and turn its wig around during the job! Classic drunken squaddie fun, timeless!!! Good tip? (0) It was very interessting to see the splitted city. We did not have any problems crossing the border between the two parts. If you plan visiting Nicosia do not plan for it more than 2 days. On the greek part almost everything was written also in English and most of the locals spoke fluent or at least enough English to answer our questions about directions and so on. Nice people. Hotel prices were quite ok, we stayed in Crown Inn. There are lots of buses and taxi it's pretty cheap. Good tip? Good tip? (0)
