Travel Tips from people who've been to Karlstejn
Not to far from Prague is the spledourous castle of Karlstejn. You can catch a train from Prague directly to Karlstejn village and well, lets say the castle isn't too hard to find :) It's neo-Gothic granduer absolutely dominates the hilltop and from the Great Tower there are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. It's only 30 minutes away from Prague which means it can be a nice morning trip and then you can return to the city in the afternoon to sample more glorious Czech beer. In the summer months the village and the castle do get quite crowded as it's one of the most famous castles in all of the Czech Republic.

cute little town just outside of Prague (about a 40 minute train ride), very nice if you want to get away from the big city for a day. And the beer is cheap :)
