Cesky Krumlov Travel Guide

What a great town. A UNESCO world heritage site, this town is beautiful. In the main town square there is a restaurant in the basement of a hotel (forgot the name) that had the single best steak I have ever had and trust me I have continued to exceed that experience. Find it. You will love the experience. By bus trip from Cesky Krumlov to Prague can be a bit interesting depending upon your driver. Learn enough Czech prior to boarding to get yourself to the right spot.

Cesky is a wonderful little town.  I recommend taking an easy afternoon and inner tubing around the river, maybe having a one of the yummy breads they sell in the little windows by the bridge, eat a great meal at the local vegetarian restaurant.  If you need a place to stay, Hostel 99 is a great choice.  You can get lost in this city, not so much physically but mentally and emotionally. 

Beautiful and quiet city. The ancient medieval buildings have been wonderfully preserved, so walking in the city centre feels like going back in time. It's forbidden getting into the city centre by car, and that helps to the ancient atmosphere. I've spent there 2 nights and it feels it wasn't enough. Great restaurants and pubs, the best i've seen in Czech Republic.
