Kobaek Strand is a nice place to go with children because of the very shallow water.

LEGO LAND ! :D the place to be, especially for families and the kids will love it.

The fountain in the city-center is marvelous for a kid to play in.

must go to Tivoli, you fell like you are a kid again

Odense is known as Hans Christian Andersen's hometown, so the majority of tourist attractions have to do with him and his fairy tales. His birthplace museum has really informative displays about his entire life, but my particular favorite was the children's museum, which allows children to dress up and play in scenes lifted straight from their favorite fairy tales. Definitely a great place for those with small children (under 8), or the young-at-heart...

Top tip - pop into the tourist office and pick up a 'walking map' of Copenhagen. Gives you a wonderful walking tour of Copenhagen and you can choose how long a route to take which brings you past all the important landmarks and out of the main high streets. Otherwise spend the day in Tivoli, one of the best theme parks in the world!

If you find yourself in Copenhagen don't neglect to make a day trip to the city of Humlebaek - about 1 hour away from Copenhagen - and the Louisiana Museum for Modern Art. It usually hosts some great exhibitions.You can buy a combined (and reduced) train and museum entrance ticket. The train journey is beautiful especially in Spring and Summer and the museum is located near the sea so the scenery is suberb.

Skagen er en hyggelig gammel by med masser af sjæl og speciel arkitektur. Det er også meget turistpræget og har en masse kultur og ferietilbud. Og så er det et spændende syn at se Grenen, hvor vandende mødes.

People smoke all the time in Copenhagen. The don't have much industrial pollution but cigarette smoke is every where
