If you are visiting San Francisco, remember to bring and wear many layers of clothing as the weather varies a lot. It is very windy over there and the wind is very cold - this is when you should be wearing lots of layers. However, when the sun is out and there is no wind it is very hot, even during the winter. This is when you can take off a few layers.
