The Embassy Suites is very nice...and they had a free shuttle to a nice quiet beach

It's not a very safe place, especially if you travel without any men. The Dominicans will shout and whistle at you, sometimes even grab certain parts of your body... :> Go there, but with a bodyguard :)

Great beach to go hang out on for the day or a little longer, but probably not the best place in the DR to spend a long vacation in. Beware of the sea urchins, they are poisonous and numerous
