Isla Baltra Travel Guide

Also known as South Seymour, Baltra is home to the main airport in the Galapagos, and is close to Santa Cruz island.

Most visitors who land here will either be transferred to their boat, docked off the island or take a scenic bus / ferry / bus ride to Puerto Ayora.

If you spot Iguanas around the airport with numbers painted on them, they have been re-introduced to the island from North Seymour, after they were previously wiped out on Baltra.
