Animals in Cairo
Cairo, Cairo & Surrounding Region, Egypt
The Pyramids at Giza. Definitely worth the trip. Try to find a reliable guide or tour group. I went with an Egyptian gentleman that called himself "The Champ", as he had climbed the Pyramids. If you are claustrophobic, you may not want to enter the pyramids. There was nothing to see, for the most part. They are far more appealing and stunning from the outside. The Sphinx at Giza is impressive, but may seem smaller than it seems in pictures. Unless you are ultra-adventurous, stay away from the camels. They are filthy and contemptible animals.
