06833There is a lovely hotel called something like "The Almonds" run by a French guy. It is right next to the police station so it is very safe. Quite lovely, food is great, reasonably priced.

003ONe thing I could recommend when you visit San Jose is to try the ZipLIne. Very exciting and you get to see the whole country from up in one of their gorgeous rain forest
