Patrick's Tip on Prague
Prague, Central Bohemia Region, Czech Republic
Avoid taxicabs unless you know how much a fare should be from one place to another. Negotiate this price in advance.
2.
Cécile's Tip on London
London, England, United Kingdom
cosmopolitan and full of life!!
3.
Gina's Tip on Reims
Reims, Champagne-Ardenne, France
The main attraction in Reims is the beautiful flamboyant Gothic cathedral, where numerous French kings were crowned. The cathedral also features stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. But it's also a wonderful little town for wandering in, and the extra bonus is that you are in Champagne. You can get a taste of the very finest Champagnes, either in a glass, or worked into all manner of dishes, like a Champagne-vinaigrette-dressed salad, or chicken braised in Champagne.
4.
André's Tip on Barcelona
Barcelona, Catalonia Region, Spain
Having lived in BCN for seven good years, i will need to focus on a few insider tips: 1. Go to Sarria: a former village now enclosed in upper Barcelona. Beautiful, relaxed, few tourists and great bars/restaurants including Bar Tomas, famed for its Patatas Bravas (and little else) 2. For nightlife amongst the locals (and not just the tourists and expats hanging around the old town) go to the area around Maria Cubi and Santalo 3. For a lovely walk overlooking my favourite town take a hike op the hills and walk on the Carretera de les Aigues (busy with locals on Sundays, but always bring your own water) or go for a longer walk in the Parc de Colserola straddling the hills 4. My favourite restaurants: Agua, Barceloneta, Ciudad Condal, La Polpa ... and sooooo many more 5. Summer festival: Grec

Inge's Tip on Rome
Rome, Lazio Region, Italy
An extraordinary country! Good to visit, always!
6.
Caroline's Tip on London
London, England, United Kingdom
My favourite city in the whole world - even though I live there - beautiful buildings - St Pauls Cathedral, Big Ben, Tower Bridge - Magical - Day or Night Dont go shopping in Oxford street though... too many people People watching over a cup of coffee in Covent Garden is great fun though
7.
Mark's Tip on Forte dei Marmi
Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany Region, Italy
I had the best Italian food ever in Forte dei Marmi. Don't go to the tourist traps though. If you go down some of the sidestreets in town and try out a local restaurant that even looks a bit shabby, you will get the best food ever; and the prices are much more reasonable too.
8.
Luigi's Tip on Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Amsterdam & Noord Holland, Netherlands
By all means visit the markets, but watch out for pick pockets, they are very organised and experienced. Special places to visit include the Royal Palace, Madame Tousaude's for some local wax and if you must, a local coffee shop, but then remember the first item. Amsterdam isn't that representative of Holland any more, if you really want to experience it, head to one of the smaller towns. Centraal Station will take you pretty much anywear quickly and easily. If you are there and they do a public address warning about the pick pockets, don't do what everyone else automatically does, which is clap their hands to where they keep their wallets. Anyone would think the crims were paying the people to do the PA's lol.
9.
Judith's Tip on Berlin
Berlin, Berlin Region, Germany
I love shopping in Berlin. Great quality clothing.
10.
Michael's Tip on Beograd
Beograd, Belgrade District, Serbia
Amazing night life, delicious rakija, very laid back people, and pljeskovica (an enormous Serbian hamburger). Serbs are a true delight to speak and drink with, plus they sell beer in two liter bottles!
