02013You need a boat to see what is worth seeing in Tonga. The plane rides are relatively expensive from island to isand and the ferry (also expensive) is a nightmare... lasting up to 24 hours, packed in like sardines, and people everywhere getting seasick. Tonga Bob's and Bounty Bar are great little places to visit on Vava'u. Don't waste your time in Nuku'Alofa. The Ha'apai group is very quiet and friendly. Eat at places owned and operated by Palangi, or cook your own food. Careful of the water.
