Tampere, Western Finland, Finland
If you're not into local foods but do like fastfood, this is one of the few places in Finland where I actually saw a McDonald's.

Kauhava, Western Finland, Finland
When you visit Kauhava you need to go to the restaurant Tuppiroska on an wednesdays evening. It is located in the Kauppatie 109. There you will meet a lot of students and some teachers and you can dance but also sing in the Karaoke-room. In my opinion there is the possibilty oh an accomodation also.

Tampere, Western Finland, Finland
Vapriikki museum is must see when you visit Tampere. If you search for amusement parks Särkänniemi is great place to stop - it has planetarium and dolphinarium for those who want some slower paced action, Näsinneula tower for those who like altitude and breathtaking views and of course there are many classical machines for those who want fast rides and thrills of speed.

On warm summer days people like to gather on the riverbanks of Tammerkoski which divides city in two. Bridge of the Tammerkoski on the other hand connect two sides together and provides nice views and easy to find landmark for the travellers.

People of Tampere are very friendly and city is very green and beautiful.

Local delicatessen is mustamakkara, sausage containing blood among other ingredients. It's very delicious, putting prejudices pays off if you try it.
