Thing to try in Brest "la crêpe Bretonne" Pancake filled with meat, seafood, or chicken.. and vegetables..
accompagned with a mug of cider..

Nightlife; you can improve your nightlife in Brest, there's many bar "Havana" & "chez doudou" are very nice. If you don't like to walk too long between bars
 take taxi

In summer you can visit a part of the military base.. (for free)
From the Bridge you can have a very nice sightseeing of the shore (romantic by night)

Grande ville portuaire, majoritairement reconstruite après la guerre et ses bombardements. Je connais mal Brest, mais elle offre un assez bon compromis entre grosse ville et port. On aime regarder les gros bateaux en entrer et sortir. Surtout, on ne rate pas la fête maritime annuelle, qui est un pur enchantement, que vous ayiez votre petit navire de plaisance ou que vous soyiez amateur, sur la grève.

Brest,
Ville détruite par les alliés durant la WWII, en soi n'est pas très jolie. A part les sites classés tels que le Chateau et la Tour Tanguy, L'Oceanopolis, le port de plaisance ou Le Stade Francis Le-Blé, la ville est surtout très belle par sa nature environnante. Quant à moi, je suis un adepte de la côte Nord et du pays des Abers.
