Quimper Travel Guide

Quimper is a small charming town in the extreme west of Brittany in France. It's a place which has a very strong traditionnal identity, you'll have lots to see there. The Tourism Information Office is located in the center of the town. You'll have fun visiting the Old town, and it's houses and old ways. Still, you'll be travelling in Brittany. If you ask any french man, he'd tell you it's always raining. That's not always true. But if you come in the summer or in the months between october and april, you'll have to bring sweaters and wrl clothes. We're celts, don't forget it! THE place to be in Quimper. If you want to see traditionnal bretons pub... The Ceili Pub, next to the train station. The place to be for musicians and tradition lovers... If you're more in mood for clubbing, you'll find it great in nightclubs like the Naïades and La Nöché... Enjoy!

Amazing architecture of a peculiar region in France.  The Bretons have good reason to see themselves as a special sort of French.  Any visit to Brittanny is well worth it!
