Saint Fargeau is a small relaxing town, once very important in medieval times. On the central square where are converging cobbled streets stands the castle whare re-enactments about its history are (were? I didn't go since I'm 12) taking place in the summer. There is very decent restaurants, cafes. A curiosity: there is a bistro/cafe named the Transvaal. From where does it get its name, so far away from Africa? It has to be investigated.
