Corsica Transportation

Corte is a small city with 2 campings. It is very small and difficult to find a good place to hitch hike. i have been there 4 days. and 2 in the hospital. but there is not much to see around there. go walk on the famous GR 20 route. it is very beautifull!!! the locals here are all very helpfull!

Petite ville accrochée entre mer et montagne ce coin de corse est moyennement intéressant pour ses plages (beaucoup de rochers et fort dénivelé) par contre, endroit exceptionnel pour de petites rando/balades sur une journée ...pratique pour visiter Evisa, les calanques de Piana, quelques tour gênoises, ...

The southern coast in the vicinity of Bonifacio is an outcrop of chalk-white limetone, precipitous and sculpted into unusual shapes by the ocean. Slightly further inland the limestone adjoins the granite of which the two islands, Sardinia and Corsica, are formed. The port of Bonifacio is placed on the Bay of Bonifacio, a drowned ravine of a fjord-like appearance separated from the ocean by a finger-like promontory 1,500 meters (4,900 ft) long and 200 meters (660 ft) wide.

The town's charm and proximity to idyllic beaches makes it a popular tourist destination in the summer, predominantly for residents of mainland France.

The town is served by Figari airport (car or taxi required), and ferry service to Sardinia is available multiple times daily.

Le centre historique est magnifique! La place est bien entretenue, les facades en bon état, c'est très agréable de déjeuner en terrasse. Il y a du monde, ça bouge...bref, une halte bien sympa en dehors de la plage de Palombaggia!

ben à part la zone commerciale...passe ton chemin...pas du tout touristique!
