Travel Tips from people who've been to Giverny
Go during May to see Monet's flowers at their peak. A lot of his floral choices were picked so that they would be in bloom at that time. Definitely worth it - when I was on THE Claude Monet bridge, the view was exactly the same as the paintings, so it's as if you're in them. It is touristy though, so try to go at weirder times Good tip? (0) See Monet's Home during May or June because the flowers will be blooming. Monet's garden is beautiful and a museum complex surrounds his home. The American Museum is almost right across from the gift shop. The museum has some beautfiul pieces. Good tip? (0)
