  003I was disappointed by this world-famous city. The streets were dirty, and the shops all touristy crap. I'm sure there are some restaurant gems with nice views, but big yachts and the venue for the film festival are not enough to entice me to return. The Gorges du Verdun are close by and much more interesting. Good tip? (0)  008before visiting france try to learn some basic phrases. a little effort goes a long way with the locals.
