01610Superbe presqu'île coincée entre la mer Méditerranée et l'étang de Thau ; magnifique vue sur l'ensemble depuis le Saint Clair ; spécialité locale : la Tielle ; belles promenades dans les vieux quartiers de marins comme le quartier haut ; éviter le plein été où la ville est prise d'assault par les touristes et surtout les hollandais :) !
Hope you're able to read and understand french ! at least if you want to come and visit Sète I recommand you to try and learn a bit about the southern french accent which is quite unique !

24971561Sete, for me, is about Paul Valéry ... though it is a beautiful little place by itself with a lovely coast and a cosy feel ... and lovely indeed among the cities there ... but do go to the sea-side cemetery there ... when you read the lines inscribed on Valéry's grave and look at the sea in front of you, you will know what poetry is really about ....
