Travel Tips from people who've been to Limousin
Aubusson is well-known in the world (I heard that but I'm really not sure it is true) as the capital of tapestry. You can also find there the theatre Jean Lurçat, where many famous plays were performed. Some of them are even performed years later in festivals such as in Avignon. Good tip? (0) Limoges is known in the world for its porcelain. The CGT, a French trade union, was created there in 1895. Le Four des Casseaux is a listed building and was used to make porcelain. Apart from that, there is no raison to go to Limoges. Good tip?
