La Flèche is one of the first poles of tourism in the Loire Valley, Sarthe. The population is approximately 17 000 people. It's about 45 kilometres from le Mans and from Angers. You can get to this town by the autoroute A 11 and by the RN 23, which begins approximately 4 km from le Mans train station.

Nantes is a lovely city with a pleasant feel to it and lots to eat and see, and has a good transport system to help you do it... don't miss the city's association with Jules Verne and do eat at the historically famous restaurant La Cigale if you get the chance ... apart from great food, especially seafood, its sculpted interiors are a marvel to watch...

A very interesting city with a lot of history mainly revolving around the days of the slave trade. The machine museum is rather amusing and you can ride a 2 story machine elephant on a short tour of the city along the river. There are a couple of absolutely beautiful parks to visit and lunch next to the castle is a fun afternoon activity. The metro,trains and busses are all great and well connected.
