Travel Tips from people who've been to Cannes
We Drove into Cannes From Saint Rapheal. The route on the sea is amazing. Winding through villages and hills and cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. Breath taking views. Once to Cannes, we followed the Water right in to the center of the city. Very easy, even during the film Festival, we pretty much drove right in and parked on the street just a block from the Festival.
We had no real plans for the festival, just to see what we could. After looking at all of the amazing yachts at port, we wandered through the festival grounds. Our highlight was attending the red carpet arrival for the closing ceremonies. The excitement was very fun. Good tip? Good tip?
