Hotels are cheap in winter but the weather is still warm. Staying a few blocks back from the beach will save you money and you'll be closer to the railway station which is great for exploring the region on the cheap.

Near the ocean, hot weather and very nice to camping there. The ppl. are friendly.

This is one of the most beautiful places i have been, stayed on a campsite in the sisteron valley, surrounded by snow capped mountains. Weather was excellent. I have never seen so many stars at night.

The area is beautiful.  Very warm weather in the summer.  Make sure to pack cool clothes!
