Nice (population: 400 000) , Antibes (population: 75 000), Cannes (population: 100 000) & Monaco (population: 25 000) 930 km South-East of Paris , on the western portion of the French Mediterranean coast, Nice is accessible by TGV from Paris in 4 hours. The agglomeration of Nice, Cannes and Monaco , represents the most glamorous section of the French Riviera also called Côte d’Azur (in reference to the emerald blue color of the sea). Because of its beautiful environment and its gentle climate, it is the number one region for summer tourism in France . Cannes is known worldwide because of its film festival and Monaco (1.5 square Km semi-independent state) for its casino.

You'll want to go to The Rock (where the palace is) and to the Casino. Both have lovely views and great picture opportunities. Only thing is that Monte Carlo is very hilly and very hot so take lots of water and don't forget your sunnies.
