Apart from the old town, which is quaint and where you can find good restaurants (you should definitely try the local speciality farçis: grilled vegetables stuffed with tuna salad), there's mostly just the beach. But as you're there anyway, you can take the sncf train to nearby places which are all beautiful: Menton, Villefranche, Cannes, Monaco, Saint Tropez even: all most typically southern French. Take an hour and walk along the stone pebble beaches, or stroll trough an open air market downtown. Public transportation is only a few euro so it is cheap and fun to get around. Good tip? (0) Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France Sprawl on the nice beach amidst celebrities, lovers, and locals, and soak in the sun... but there is also the lovely mediterranean cuisine and wine here and the relatively smaller (though sometimes snazzier) riviera towns in Cannes, Monaco or the like are at a stone's throw from Nice...
