Train stops here. Connections to ski resorts is done by bus then (very expensive). Hitch-hiking is cheaper and more sucessful during high season. If you stay in the surrounding ski resorts, Bourg-St-Maurice is the best place to run your errands or make your food shopping, on the resort it is at least 20% more expensive (up to 200% on some items)

If you are looking for a good place to go skiing go to Bourg-Saint-Maurice Les Arcs. It is for me the most beautiful mountain areas in Europe! Located between an altitude of 810 to 3.800 metres. It has 5 ski resorts.
