I rally enjoyed the turn and seeing how they got water up from the crypts, by a giant wheel that some men had to walk on to make it move. ie a giant hamster wheel for humans. I had a wonderful day.

Pay attention to high and low tides and where you park...quicksands are around this walled town on a tiny "island". Go to one of the restaurants that offer local lamb chops that are naturally seasoned by the sea grass that they graze on in the area! Delicious! Try the food at "La Mere Poulard" on the way up to the cathedral at the top of Mont St. Michel.
