The Muensterplace:
The Muenster of our love woman is the heart of the city. One began with the building around the year 1200. Differently than e.g. in Cologne or Ulm where the buildings of churches only in 19. Century were terminated, was already around 1330 finished the 116 meters high tower. With the new building of the choir until 1513 the Muenster was completed in its current form. Since then there were only smaller changes like the cultivation Renaissance-before-resounds at the south side 1620. The style of the Muenster is lateRoman in the oldest parts. Thus the Muenster arouses at first sight the impression of a purely Gothic building. The two cock towers and details on the inside show the Roman beginnings however also today still.

Freiburger Market is definitively woth a visit. The sell fresh aspargus, strawberries, cherries and all kind of vegetables there. The also sell a lot of handmade things. Compared to Switzerland it's rather cheap. Eiscafé Lazarin is directly next to the market, they have very good ice cream. There's also a huge cathedral one can visit. There are also common shops like H&M, C&A, Müller, Pimkie, Karstadt etc. and a lot of smaller shops. It's a very nice city. Tipp for the ladies: Don't wear high heeled shoes, the ground is mostly cobbled, and there are often up to 10cm deep holes between the cobblestones, you might get stuck there. Or wear shoes with a fat heel.
