0165A small German town on the Rhine across the border from France, can be easily accessed by bus or better still, use the pathway to walk or cycle into Germany. You won't find any indication that you're in Germany though except the graffitied swastika on a wall as soon as you arrive. Things are definitely cheaper than in Strasbourg. Oh yeah, a lot of people speak French here (duhh)...

022211Kehl is located on the Rhine and is linked to Strassbourg by a couple of bridges. In fact, Kehl is great because the smokes are a lot cheaper than in France. The beer is better and cheaper as well. It really is very relaxed and a great change from the hustle and bustle of hectic Strassbourg. Plus there are many ice cream parlours and restaurants.

0027Wer gerne reitet, findet dort gute Möglichkeiten zum übernachten und Pferde anmieten. Die Gegend ist für kleinere Ausflüge für Anfänger sehr gut geeignet. Einige familien mit Kindern trifft man immer. Ein oder zwei gute Restaurants hat die kleine 'Grenzstadt'
