Meersburg is a lovely historic town on the shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee). Be sure to visit both the old and new castles in town, and take a stroll along the lake shore.
Beautiful vineyards line the hills around the lake.  Plan to spend a day on the Isle of Mainau (the island of flower) Beautiful island in the middle of Lake Constance filled with beautiful flower gardens, a ancient (yet inhabited castle) and an incredible tropical indoor garden. A lovely day trip!
