Travel Tips from people who've been to Rottenburg
Rottenburg ob der Tauber is a medieval walled city that is as close as you'll get to an authentic historical Germany. It is simply beautiful, and a popular destination for artists from around the world. Plan to spend at least 2 days here, and watch for an authentic Oktoberfest (which I missed). Be sure to climb into the town square tower for a look around the entire town. Good tip? (0) Wear comfortable shoes!! There are steps everywhere (even on the sidewalks!), and I didn't encounter one elevator. Seeing this city is more like a hiking excursion than a stroll, but very worth it. Good tip? (0) While there, visit the Christmas shop! Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Rottenburg
