  022211Known locally as the city of two castles. One was built in the last hundred years or so and the original was built in about 800 AD and was a lookout castle protecting the abbey Lorsch some 10 km away. Some of the city walls still stand including three towers and a gate. Very small but very quaint and charming and off the beaten track. The city museum holds the stuffed remains of a two headed goat.
