0277freising is a quiet town next to munich where you can stay during oktoberfest.the town is nice an full of pubs and typical restaurants where you can taste bavarian specials.From there you can reach easly teh oktoberfest by train and it is cheap than stay in munich.You can't miss a dinner at the Weihenstephan wich is the oldest beer factory in germany.
