Travel Tips from people who've been to Berlin
I love shopping in Berlin. Great quality clothing. Good tip? (+3) I highly recommend buying the city tour bus pass, it allows you access to most of the city and runs all day long. Find a site that sounds interesting and get off to look around (head-set provides descriptions as the bus approaches each site). Also, get used to using the subway, it's invaluable for getting around. I'm sure everyone says this, but I'll re-iterate that Checkpoint Charlie is a must-see. The museum is such a powerful reminder of the atrocities that took place on the other side of the wall and I was absolutely amazed by all the ways people escaped. Good tip? (+1) Too many things to say bout it so i'll briefly tell u 2 clubs i've been: PANORAMA BAR amazing, ex soviet electric power plant near Ostbanhof; strangest place where u can dance, go only f u dont like rules. WATERGATE lovely in front of the river and Kreuzberg bridge, floor visual on 2 floor simply unique. Useless to say top dj's play there and prices are fair. Good tip? (+1)
