04040For a great meal in Darmstadt, stop by the Restaurant Eichbaum Tresen, Bessunger Str. 93, at the intersection of Heidelberger Landstrasse. The Eichbaum Tresen boasts dozens of different types of Schnitzel and of Spaetzle. (My favorite, is the Zigeunerschnitzel, nice and spicy!) The challenge is to finish your plate -- the portions are very generous, and the great Eichbaum beer is perfect for washing it all down.

0036Great town with nice shopping!! Pretty big city there is a military base located in Darmstadt for those military looking for becon!! They also have a Wal-Mart altough vastly different from our own. They even have a Pizza Hut!! There are also a lot of great German sights to see in this big city!!

01311Visit down town not for shopping but to eat the german hot / hot dogs sold out side. Definetly taste gulash soup. I prefer to be there in winter time. hot food is good in cold weather.
