  009I went to school in Emden for a year, and spent some part of almost every day walking around. There is a great bike path along the city wall, a great farmer's market three days a week, and lots of small local stores. There are some interesting places to see, like the ruins of a church that was bombed in World War 2, a museum inside City Hall, and another one in a WW2 bunker/bomb shelter.
