Hannover, Lower Saxony Region, Germany
Like any other city in Germany, Hannover is a good place and stop to take. Loads of greenery to absorb the people are friendly [ dont be fooled by te hard exteria] A must stop is the animal sactuary up on the mountains and plaease leave a donation the animals there really need all the support. Public transportation [ like it is everywhere in Germany] is very good so you will never be lost or destitute

Hannover, Lower Saxony Region, Germany
If you're interested in Hannover, you should stay in Hamburg and just take the train down. Hannover in itself is not that wild.

Hannover, Lower Saxony Region, Germany
Almost every time I went to Hannover was by Train: ICE (Inter City Express) It is less than 2 hours from Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg, very central in Germany and then you can visit Downtown Hannover or use one of the many shuttle trains to the EXPO area. I went there by car once and wish I had taken the train.
