visit the marine and army museum on the northern tip of usedom island. cold war history and probably an accessible sub-marine are part of the big area, where there´s also a tecnical-phisical interactive museum that invites to stay a little longer. reach it on a bike daytrip from almost every spot of the island, enjoying the tipical northern german landscapes and reed-roofed houses.
