Travel Tips from people who've been to Seebad Ahlbeck
Ahlbeck is an old sea resort tucked at the extreme Northeastern part of Germany, just a few miles away from the Polish border. After the Wall came down, the entire place was renovated and rebuilt and the job has been marvellously accomplished. This is a quaint beach town, where time seemingly has stood still for over a century. It is very civilised and also a bit pricey but which also means you won't find the usual Euroyobs here. Beautiful cycling tours and long strolls along the seashore are what makes this place so relaxing. Oh yes, and the great afternoon cakes in the local "Konditorei" of course. Good tip?
