Koln, Nordrhein-Westfalen Region, Germany
I was in Koln five years ago and it was the most memorable time. I lived there for three months and you never ever ever ever get bored, there is so much to do, so much turkish, indian, chinese culture that mixes with the local food. Loved the festivals and partys (E-Werk and more), the cheap shops in Mulheim, the downtown 2 shopping streets, the clever museums. A MUST

Koln, Nordrhein-Westfalen Region, Germany
The best way to experience Koln is during Karnivale during February. It is when the streets are full of locals and tourists dressed in costumes out to enjoy the Karnivale Parade through the central streets of the city. Remember to wear a costume as you will feel like the odd one out if you don't!
