Travel Tips from people who've been to Dusseldorf
Shortly, amazing city with a lot of friendly people around! If you're planning to visit Dusseldorf you can't miss seeing old town, going into kinda narrow streets you can eat delicious lunch, choosing from variety of reastaurants, which serve cousine from around the world and letting you know something about their culture. Also you have to spend evening walking along the river - there are plenty of stylish pubs! Don't forget to drink weiss bier instead of ordinary beer! If you came by plane you should choose the ropeway, which connect the airport with the centre of the city, nice ride ;p Ohhhhh and shopping of course !- a lot of good, really well supplied boutiques! :) I can't wait to go there once again! Good tip? (0) ok, for every sane individual who finds themselves in Dusseldorf, there's 4 or 5 newbies who end up blowing all their wages in one night. Believe me, I know... my advise - try not to be too drunk till you get a feel for the place. Like any large city, keep your friends close and your enemies closer... if you do however find yourself in some crap, "Stop, Drop n Roll" seems to work best. If you still get covered in lava, it's god's way of sayin "You really shouldn't have gone to Germany..." Good tip? (0) Dusseldorf is city in Germany that had realy great night life, There is pubs and caffe's on the river (with really good buzz), many places to go out like restaurants, clubs. The most famous street is "königsallee" great place for good shopping. :) Old town is nice and he have special spirit that you can feel. And one that is really stunning was "Dusseldorf Druppa messe" The famous Dusseldorf IT and Technology market. Realy worth to visit. Good tip? (0)
