Monschau is a very small town in Germany, just over the border with Belgium. It has a towncentre of typical wooden houses, the river runs through the centre,.. in short: nice atmosphere.
There's also a glassworks atelier, where you can see how glass objects are being made (i'm not sure, but if i remember well it's for free). Not far away from that, there's Krippana, a kind of museum of christmas cribs (from small to very big, can be very beautiful, but if you're not a christmas fan, i wouldn't go there.. you might get an overdose!)
