Best Time to Visit Germany
Berlin, Berlin Region, Germany
There is a vast amount of things to see and do in Berlin and the surrounding area. The best tip I can give to anyone planning on heading to the capital of the unified Germany is to take one of the cities walking tours such as Berlin Walks . You'll want to make sure you've got time and a comfortable pair of shoes though: It's not a small city.

Hamburg, Hamburg Region, Germany
When in Hamburg, there are 3 things you must do: aa) visit the harbour bb) visit the reeperbahn (nightlife) cc) enjoy a musical. And should you have a day left, why not discover the surroundings for example "das alte Land", direction of Stade/Cuxhaven. The best time for this is in spring, when all trees are in full blossom.

A beer lovers paradise....steins that hold litres of beer..what more can you ask for? Each time I've traveled to Munich there has been a soccer match and despite the huge crowds in the trains, subway and streets I've had a great time...just a headache finding a hotel room. The best way to see Munich is by foot, there are organized tours or you can do it yourself.  Getting around the city by streetcar is also very easy and inexpensive. I'd avoid the Olympic park and BMW Museum, as they were a bit of a letdown and not very interesting. Definitely suggest visiting the Dachau camp outside the city and an easy train ride about 20 min.  Although difficult to see an eye opening experience and birds eye view to what happened in WW2 Favourite place to eat is the Ratzkeller, traditional German food that is totally delish.

Berlin, Berlin Region, Germany

Schleusingerneuendorf, Thuringia Region, Germany
Small town with very friendly people. Stop in and say hi to the post office and learn of the days events. Or go to the butcher or town bar; it's small but the people are friendly and the town gulasch soup is great!

Germany Photography
Munich, Bayern Region, Germany
This place is EXPENSIVE
And when the store operators notice that you are a tourist - they bump the arbitrary pricing up. I was nearly conned by a photo-processing shop that wanted to charge me 40 euros to process one round of 27 photos from my camera.

Dachau, Bayern Region, Germany
Dachau is one of the many concentration camps that could be found in Germany during the World War II.
You can now see some museum like rooms with objects reminding the horrible tragedy that happened here, as long as movie projections, photos, etc.

Sankt Blasien, Baden-Wurttemberg Region, Germany
Dođete u St. Blasien, mjesto nadomak Švicarske u pokrajini Schwarzwald. Tipično umirovljeničko mjesto. Najveći hotel zove se Haus an der Alb. Alb je rijeka koja teče kroz mjesto. Oko mjesta kilometri staza kroz šumu: najveća znamenitost je crkva nekad velikog isusovačkog kolegija koju krasi treća najveća kupola na svijetu. Isplati se pogledati.

Berlin is an amazing place full of wonders and hidden beauty. You'll need more than a weekend to fully explore the place, but it'll be worth it. Don't forget to get a kebab, the best kebabs in Europe are to be found in Berlin.

Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate Region, Germany
I went to Germany not expecting to fall in love with it. I thought it would be cold and antiseptic and, well, Germanic. And my first stop, in Trier, wiped the slate entirely clean. Trier has been occupied since Roman times (the most notable evidence of which is the Porta Nigra, a former city gate). It's a lovely city for wandering about, and its cathedral is, if you're into ecclesiastical architecture, a marvel of Romanesque style, blunt but elegant and haunting in its austerity. The surrounding countryside is what stole my heart, though. The Mosel river, to me, tops the Rhine in scenic value. The slate bluffs are ideal for growing the grapes that go into the incredible white wines of the region (this is an ideal place to go for an on-site education in Rieslings, Gewurtztraminers, Eisweins, etc.). Come to Trier and you will leave enchanted.
