Bernkastel-Kues Travel Guide

Riding your motorcycle into Bern Kastel Kues is an amazing ride. Along the Mosel is nice but if you want a great ride, enter the town from the hills in the south. There are many curves including 3 switchbacks! As you enter the town you ride through a tunnel underneath the castle and reach the river. At the intersection, turn left and in 2 minutes you ill see the old town on your right. The Mosel river is on your left.

Bernkastel is beautiful! The town sits on the banks of the Mosel River where there are always ferries [boats]stopping for a visit. There are Wineyards everywhere. You will need to park then walk a ways to the Market Center but its worth the walk. In the summer there are window boxs on all the windows filled with blooms.
