I was stationed in Germany for 3 1/2 years.  I was around Spangdahlem.  Then I married & moved to Birkenfeld & lived there for a year.  We constantly went to Saarbrucken all the time, they mine their own diamonds there.  My husband got my engagement ring from there.  We also went to Luxembourg to go to the movies, it's actually not that far, & the movie theater is awesome.
