0046Bitburg is great. I would love to go back there again. My granddaughter Whitney was born there. It's a nice clean little town that is host to an old Air Force Base. The base is no longer operating other then some base housing, and a few shops. It's also the home of Bitburger Beer, and like most German Brews it pretty strong.

004Don't even attempt to find the Hairbo gummy bear factory. The whole town smells like processed sugar and you'll miss out on all the beatiful castles!

03014Yes, this is the actual place they brew Bitt beer, unfortunately, there is no real reason other then to have a Bitt in Bittburg to travel here! :-(
