You can take a boatride on the lake surrounding the palace - great fishing and photo-ops.

This is a great little town where we can ponder the effect of world war II. Definitely look for a postcard showing the before and after photos of the bombing of Dresden.

it great to visit the "Neustadt" for a night out. Lots of Pubs and Bars. Nice for a afternoon coffee: "Das Wohnzimmer"

Do not!! pay for cheap accommodation especially if it looks like a pre world war II army barracks.. youv got to ask yourself... if its only £4 a night, what the fucks it got going on in it!!

Meissen is a little town in Saxony, but famous for its porcelaine manufactury. Just a short ride away from Dresden, the visit of the manufactury is a must. The city centre is very nice and if you do have enough money, buy one of the fantastic porcelaine.
