  058287Take a trip to nearby laboe and visit the mariners monument. There is a WWII submarine you can climb inside and visit, great for the kids. Visit Kiel town hall - does the tower remind you of anywhere? venice perhaps? Inside is an unsusual revolving wooden lift called a Paternoster. Good tip? (0)  0172Visit Kiel in summer! Espacially for the so called "Kieler Woche" one of the biggest sailing events in the world. For windsurfing or other watersports is Kiel perfect, but that's all.
