dispite what others say this place is great fun!! never mind the dust! a great place to provision and party!

Gibraltar is a British colony between Spain and Africa where people go to get duty free jewelry, alcohol and for the nightlife. There is the most amazing cave, where they hosted a concert for the Queen, that has evidence of the first human habitation on the European continent... do the tour! Ladies watch out for the Spanish guys, they don't have much respect for English speaking women... they think maybe you are one of the many randy English female tourists who chase everything in pants and return to Britain as born again virgins, so they will treat you as such until they get to know you. Spanish women are treated with much more courtesy and respect, so they do know how to behave. This area has a massive amount of drug trade between Spain and Africa... plenty of needles wash up on the beach every day, so wear shoes and I suggest not to go into La Linea (on a beach horse-ride I was told they may shoot if we got too close).

Do not drive to Gibraltar if all possible. Very very tight one way streets to drive. How many times did I have back up down as the locals are not fond of the cars. Lot's of mopeds. Rent one!!!!!

I recommend the St. Micheal's caves where you will find the native white apes running around everywhere. Beware, they are aggressive and will literally snatch an apple from your hand!!!!

If you go to Gibraltar DO NOT forget your passport.
English authorities will not let you go up.
